Thirty disadvantaged Black Entrepreneurs will benefit from a practical, valuable and transformative qualification, boosting prospects for commercial success and access to funding.

Co-designed, Validated & Delivered by

In partnership with Stephen Lawrence Day Foundation https://stephenlawrenceday.org/ BBI has conceived MBA 30, a short course and introductory business qualification co-designed, validated and being delivered by SOAS, the University of London.

MBA 30, aims to equip new, early stage and more established Black Entrepreneurs with an understanding of financial statements, important business principles, strategies, best practice, effective marketing, impactful communications and how to produce striking presentations, key for closing sales. It recognises, in many instances this group, might be first generation and helps them to avoid common and sometimes terminal business pitfalls, with advanced lessons, for those ready to develop and scale. We believe this practical and measurable qualification is not only transformative, it might also be a catalyst for a full MBA, simultaneously giving potential investors greater confidence to make positive funding decisions.

MBA 30 commemorates 30 years since the murder of Stephen Lawrence and positively celebrates his legacy.
