Purpose

The Black British Initiative, in collaboration with Metro and DMG Ventures, is committed to tackling one of the UK’s most pressing challenges: wealth inequality.

According to the Runnymede Trust, Black Britons of African heritage hold 90% less wealth, and those of Caribbean heritage 80% less, than their White counterparts. This inequality not only limits the ability of Black entrepreneurs to launch and grow businesses — it also means the UK misses out on talent that could drive meaningful economic growth.

MBA 30, delivered in partnership with SOAS University of London, is the UK’s only accredited mini MBA focused exclusively on addressing this disparity. Its mission is to support underserved and overlooked Black founders by giving them the tools, network, and visibility needed to succeed commercially.

By helping these entrepreneurs thrive, MBA 30 not only supports the building of generational wealth — it also contributes to a stronger, more inclusive UK economy.
